Simvest — Request account deletion
This page explains how to delete your Simvest account and associated personal data. Simvest is a stock simulation app by Sami Moudarres (Google Play and Apple App Store).
Delete in the app (recommended)
- Open the Simvest app and sign in.
- Go to Settings (profile icon on the home screen).
- Tap Delete account, enter your password, and confirm.
- Your account, profile, simulated portfolios, game memberships, and posts are removed from our active systems (see data retained below).
Or request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, email us from your registered address:
- Confirm the email address or phone number on your account (check Settings if you can still sign in).
- Use the subject line: Delete my Simvest account.
-
In the message, include:
- Your registered email address or phone number
- Your display name / username (if known)
- Optional: your Simvest user ID (shown in Settings → About) to help us locate your account faster
- We will verify that you own the account and process your deletion request, usually within 30 days (often sooner).
Email: backupsamimoudarres@gmail.com
Data that will be deleted
After we verify your request, we delete or anonymize the following, where applicable:
- Account credentials (email/phone and password hash)
- Profile information (display name, avatar, contact details)
- Simulated portfolio, trade history, and game membership tied to your account
- Activity feed posts, reactions, and poll votes you created
- Push notification subscription endpoints for your devices
- Notification and follow preferences stored for your account
Data that may be kept (and for how long)
- Legal or security records — information we must retain to comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce our terms (only as long as required).
- Server backups — deleted account data may remain in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before being permanently removed.
- Aggregated or de-identified data — statistics that cannot reasonably identify you (for example, total users in a game) may be retained.
- Content visible to other players — in some games, posts or leaderboard entries may be anonymized (shown as “Deleted user”) rather than fully erased, so game history remains coherent for other participants.
If you only want to stop using Simvest without deleting data, you may sign out in the app.
